LOREE INTERACTIVES REVAMP!

We're excited to announce the release of our revamped Interactive Tool. This update brings enhanced functionality, improved user experience, and new features designed to help you get the most out of the interactives.

Enhanced Landing Page View

The Loree Interactive Landing Page now boasts a refreshing look, featuring the beautiful Loree Blue throughout.

  1. Before we dive into the enhanced world of interactives, it is important to understand the changes that are now available in the Dashboard of the Interactives Landing Page for My InteractivesGlobal Interactives as well as Shared Interactives altogether:
  2. Introducing a new name search feature alongside an Interactives type filter, allowing direct selection of interactive types by name.  
  3. Interactives can now be sorted by Title, Type, and Status in ascending or descending order, matching admin dashboard functionality.
  4. Enhanced pagination options at the bottom of the page allow for easy navigation between pages using Next, Previous, First, and Last page options, and direct page jumping. 
  5. Adjust the number of rows per page for optimal viewing via a new dropdown.  Refer to the image below: 


Enhanced Editor for the Bubble Menu

  1. The Bubble Menu in the Section Editor now sports a fresh look, mirroring features seen in the Loree Editor highlighted in green in the image below:


  2.  Font Family and Font Size
  3. Loree ensures design consistency across platforms by providing the same fonts in Loree Interactive.
  4. Easily adjust font size with a dropdown menu, supporting both Pixel (Px) and Percentage (Pt) values. Refer to the image below: 


  5. Enhanced Color Picker

  6.  Enhanced Text color, Text background color, and border now have the latest color picker. 
  7. Users can change border width and style using the border option. Refer to the image below:
                           



  1. Bullet List: Ordered and Unordered

Unordered List
  1. An unordered list organizes items with bullet points and is commonly used for clear and concise presentation of items or points.
  2. Each item is marked by a bullet or another symbol with  disc, circle, and square as supporting styles. 
Ordered List
  1. Ordered lists organize items with sequential numbers or letters.
  2. Styles include Numbers (1, 2, 3), Alphabet (a, b, c), and Roman (I, II, III) where each style serves different presentation needs based on hierarchy and clarity. Refer to the features below:


  3.  Indent Spacing

  4.  Increase Indent moves selected text further right for nested lists or hierarchical structures.
  5. Decrease Indent is enabled  only after Increase Indent; moves text closer to the left margin.
  6. Increase Text Indent adjusts the first line's indent in a paragraph, useful for hanging indents in lists.
  7. Decrease Text Indent is enabled only after Increase Text Indent; reduces the first line's indent to align with the left margin. Refer to the image below:

  2.  Loree Interactives now support word options such as Uppercase, lowercase, capitalize, strikethrough, and superscript neatly packed under the Word options feature as shown below:


  1.  Media Content Library

  2.  Combined media content icon allows effortless addition of images, icons, or videos to your interactive with a single click.
1. Image: 
  1. Clicking the image option shows existing uploaded images in the Editor platform. 
  2. Users must upload course images as new to use in Loree Interactives. 
  3. 'Click to upload a new interactive image' option allows image uploads into the interactive. Refer to the image below

Please Note:
  1. Loree Interactive uses a separate content library for image media, distinct from the Loree Editor's library.
  2. This platform-based library is accessible to all launching Loree Interactive within the organization.
2. Icon: 
  1. Interactives now have their own Icon Library, similar to the Loree Editor. 
  2. Customize icon color, background, border, and size easily after adding it to your interactive. Refer to the image below: 
3. Video
  1. Direct uploads are not supported for the video option in media content. 
  2. Add videos by inserting links from YouTube, Vimeo, or other external URLs instead. Refer to the image below: 


Table

For the first time, users can now add tables to their interactives using the Table option in the bubble menu:

 1. Create Table
  1. Click 'Create Table' to open a window for configuring table settings. 
  2. Use dropdown menus to select up to 10 rows and columns.
  3. At least one row or column selection is required to create the table. 
  4. Include a table caption to describe its content. Refer to the image below: 
     
          
2. Cell: 
  1. Customize table cells by selecting a cell, then navigating to Table > Cell in the bubble menu. 
  2. Options include Cell Properties, Merge Cell, and Split Cell menus for customization.
          a. Cell Properties
  1.  Customize cell padding (top, bottom, right, left) in pixels (px) to adjust spacing inside each cell, improving content layout. 
  2. The cell scope option enhances HTML accessibility by adding attributes to generated code, defaulting to 'none' but configurable as 'row,' 'column,' 'row group,' or 'column group' as needed. 
  3. Use Cell Properties to customize table cells, including border width, color, style, and background color. Refer to the image below:  
     

    b. Merge Cell: Merge cells in the table by selecting at least two cells and clicking on the merge option to combine them into a single merged cell.
     
    c. Split Cell: After enabling the merge cell option, you can also split cells back into their original individual cells if needed. Refer to the image below: 

3Row: 
  1. Row menu options include: Insert row before, Insert row after, Delete row, and Row properties.
  2.  'Insert row before' adds a new row above the selected row, while 'Insert row after' adds one below it in a table. 
  3. 'Delete row' removes the selected row.
  4. Row properties allow customization of row attributes such as border width, style, color, and background.Refer to the image below: 

 4. Column
  1. Column menu options include: 'Insert column before,' adding a column to the left of the selected one, and 'Insert column after,' placing a column to its right. 
  2. 'Delete column' removes the selected column, allowing flexible management of table structure and content. Refer to the image below: 

5. Table Properties
  1. Table properties offer extensive control over the table's appearance, including size, alignment, border width, color, style, and background color.
  2. Users can adjust settings for border collapse and separate to control how borders between adjacent cells appear, ensuring precise customization and layout control. Refer to the image below: 

 6. Delete Table: This option allows you to remove the entire table from your course. See the image below: 


  1.  Adding a link lets you insert a clickable connection to another webpage, document, or resource.
  2. Choose to open the link in the same page or in a new page for user navigation convenience.
  3. Users can access linked content directly by clicking on the specified text or image.. Refer to the image below: 
  1. Please Note: The Bubble Menu Editor will remain same wherever needed inside the Interactives.



Accordion Interactive

Loree's Accordion interactive has undergone a dramatic transformation, emerging with a sleek new interface and a treasure trove of exciting new features.
  1. From the Loree Interactives Landing Page, a simple click on the 'Create' option for accordion takes you to the enhanced version of the interactive. Refer to the before and after revamp images below:

Tabs Interactive


Please note:

1. The form section for Tabs interactives is the same as that for Accordion Interactive, including Add Section upgradation, Enhanced Bubble Menu, and the final Create option.
2. Just like the Accordion Interactives, the PREVIEW option has been conveniently placed on the far right side corner of the form section for all other interactives as well.
3. The upgraded UI also features a revamped customization section, complete with collapse and expand mode for all interactives.

Button Interactive

  1. The upgraded version of Loree Button Interactive boasts an advanced, neater UI with exceptional customizable options.
  2. In the Button Form Section:
     - Previously known 'Title' is now enhanced to 'Interactive Title',
    -  'Name' is now updated to  'Button Name'
    - 'Link' is now modified to 'Button Link', with options to open the link in either a new tab or the same tab. Refer to the images below:

Multiple Choice Question Interactive

The Multiple Choice Question Interactive now features an updated UI, consistent with other interactive elements.  
Form Section:
  1. Similar to the Accordion, the form section includes an 'Add Section' feature. 
  2. Users can add sections below or between existing sections, move them up or down, or delete them entirely without having to drag them manually unlike before. Refer to images below:

BUG FIXES

Image slider icon issue

  1. Previously users experienced an issue with Image/Video slider interactives' icon, as when they tried to change the icon colour, although it would change in the preview, the same wouldn't be reflected in the editor. This issue is now resolved as part of the Loree Interactives revamp and now users can easily change the colour of the image slider icons as shown ithe images below:




Internal Padding and Scrollbar Issue in Interactives

  1. Earlier, users faced issues with regards to the internal padding and scrollbar inside their chosen interactives. This issue is now resolved as part of the Loree Interactives revamp and users can effectively make use of interactives without facing any padding or scrollbar related problems. Please refer to the before and after fix images below:
