In the world of fonts, Loree shines with a collection of over 900 Google fonts available through the Fonts option in the Loree Admin dashboard. You have the power to enable any font that suits your organization's style, and with a simple click on "Save" (located in the upper right corner), you can effortlessly integrate it into the Loree editor.
But that's not all. We've introduced a Font Management System right within the Loree editor, and now, our Loree admins have the capability to directly add or upload custom fonts from the admin dashboard.
When you're navigating through the admin dashboard, just look for "Fonts" in the navigation menu as shown below, where, you'll find two handy options:
Google Fonts. 2. Custom Fonts.
Within Google Fonts, admins have a nifty feature that lets them view all the Google fonts that have already been added to their instance.
In the realm of Custom Fonts, our Loree admins have a nifty feature that allows them to review all the custom fonts that have already been uploaded to their instance.
Note:
Upload your font files in any of the following formats: TTF/OTF/WOFF
A maximum of 10 font files is allowed per upload.
To upload a font the Loree admin can click on the upload option and then select the fonts from the system in TTF/OTF/WOFF Format and after selecting the format, the admin has to select the style of the font.
After selecting the style of the font we can click on Upload, and the fonts will get uploaded. As soon as the font is uploaded there will be a message on the screen Upload completed with a note-
Note: Please copy the font CSS available in the next step and paste in the Themes to make the changes appear in your LMS.
After successfully uploading a font, the administrator needs to copy the CSS code of the font and update it in the themes to make the changes appear in the Learning Management System (LMS). The CSS code for a particular font can be found on the right side of the uploaded font list.
And here's a handy feature: Admins can conveniently download or copy all the font styles in one click, thanks to the provided option at the bottom of the screen as shown below:
Once you've got them, you can paste them into your themes to quickly apply all the fonts in one smooth update.
Style Manager Accordion in the Loree Admin dashboard will carry three amazing customization options in the Loree editor. The below sections will inform in detail about the Custom colors, Custom Headers, and Custom Links.
We now have two options under Customs Colors, the Primary section is Global Colors and the secondary section is Additional Custom Color palettes as shown in below:
Global Colors will carry a full-color spectrum palette in which any organizational or desired colors can be chosen and Saved (bottom of the Custom Colors accordion) to fetch inside the Loree editor to use for any of the Background, Border, or Font colors.
When you click on the "(+ Color)" icon, a world of color choices opens up before you. You can take your pick from a color scaling tool, input a specific Hex code for the color, or even specify the RGBA code for the exact color you want to apply.
To make things even easier, we offer options to select either a Hex code or an RGBA code right from the dropdown menu
In our secondary section, we introduce Additional Custom Color palettes, giving Loree admins the power to create multiple color groups within custom colors. They can start adding colors to these palettes and even share them, either globally or with specific sub-accounts within their organization.
Creating a new Color palette is a breeze for admins. All they need to do is click on "Create Color Palette" under Custom Colors, and they're off to a colorful start!
After clicking on Create Color Palette there will be a popup window where we have to update the name of the Color Palette. After updating the name, Create option will be enabled we can click on it to create a new Color Palette.
When the group is created we will get a message as “New color group created successfully”.
Once the group is created we can click on the (+ Color) Icon and we will have the ability to either choose a color from a color scaling tool, input a specific Hex code for the color, or input a specific RGBA code of the color to be applied. We can choose options of Hex code and RGBA code from the dropdown. After the colors, we can click on save to save the selected colors in the group.
After saving the desired colors for the group palette admin will now be able to edit, share and delete the color palette by clicking on the three dots on the right side of the palette.
Admins have some great options when it comes to managing color groups. Here's how it works:
1. Edit: If you want to change the name of a color group, simply click on the "edit" option. It's as easy as that.
2. Delete: Need to clean house? Click on "delete" to remove a color group that you no longer need.
3. Share: You can also decide who gets to see your color palette. Choose from three options:
- Private: Only you, the admin, can view it.
- Global: Everyone in the organization can access it.
- Share with a Sub-account: Share it with a specific sub-account, and the selected colors in the palette will be visible only in courses within that sub-account.
This flexibility allows you to tailor your color palettes to your specific needs, making your organization's colors available where they're needed, and keeping them private when required.
The Globe Icon next to the name shows that this palette is shared Globally.
The Category Icon next to the name shows that this palette is shared with some categories.
The Lock Icon next to the name shows that this palette is private.
If a color Palette is shared with particular sub-accounts it will be only reflected in the particular sub-accounts.
Now the Loree Admin will be able to manage the Color Picker options from the admin dashboard → Roles and features → Color Picker.
This means, even if the admin shared the custom color groups globally or with a specific sub-account, they could manage the availability of the custom colors based on user roles.
Ex: Admin can restrict the teachers to use Global colors and shared color groups.
In our Custom Headers feature, admins have the ability to define the font style and font size for six different headers and paragraphs. Once these settings are customized, all you need to do is save them.
Whenever a Paragraph or any of the Headers are used, the Font style and size that have been set up in the Loree Admin dashboard will be beautifully reflected, ensuring a consistent and polished look throughout your content.
The Links can have colors and font styles like size and font family in Loree. When Custom Links like their font family, size, link decoration, and link style can be set in the Custom Links option in the Loree Admin dashboard to reflect in the Loree editor.
Note: All links like the external links or quick links for the whole organization will have the same link style applied in the Custom links in the Loree Admin dashboard.
Thank You!
