Feature Enhancements
1. Increased Character Limit for Image Alt Text
- We’re happy to announce an improvement to the alternative text feature for images.
- In this enhancement, the character limit for Alternative Text on images is expanded from 120 to 150 characters. Based on the customer feedback and WCAG standards, we have done the enhancement on the alternative text .
- This enhancement applies to all images added through the editor and interactive features, allowing users to provide more detailed descriptions.
2. Enhanced Sub-Account Sharing for Interactive's:
- We are pleased to introduce an enhancement to the feature of sharing interactives across sub-accounts.
- Previously, admin could only share an interactive with the parent sub-account and first level of sub-account. Now, with this new enhancement, admins can view a complete list of all sub-accounts with checkboxes and select specific sub-accounts for sharing.
- When the top-level parent checkbox is selected, all sub-level checkboxes will automatically be selected. Admin can then uncheck individual sub-level checkboxes as needed.
- If an interactive is already shared with a sub-account, its checkbox will be selected. When an admin uncheck's a selected sub-account and selects another, the interactive will transfer it, removing it from the previous sub-account and adding it to the newly selected one.
- This enhancement makes it more flexible for the admin to share the interactives across sub-accounts.
3. Custom font Enhancement
- Previously, if an admin wanted to update a custom font, they first needed to upload the font in the custom font section. After successfully uploading, the admin would need to copy the CSS style from the page and update it in the themes. This process was the same for adding or deleting a custom font.
- Now we have enhanced the uploading of the custom font in the loree editor. Individual copying CSS style has been removed in this update.
- Now, in the enhancement, we have introduced a static URL for custom fonts. When an admin adds or deletes a custom font, it will automatically update in the themes page, allowing teachers to use the newly added custom font.
Request for Existing User: Please update the link to the Themes page once to enable automatic updates for future custom font additions and deletions
- Previously, the custom font feature was not applied to interactives; now we have implemented the custom font to the interactives.
For existing users to utilize this feature, the admin must upload at least one custom font in the Custom Font section.
Bug fixes
1. Banner Image Replacement Issue
Issue :
Users were unable to replace the banner image on the platform.
Resolution:
The issue has been resolved, and users can now successfully replace the banner image as expected.
2. Alt text issue in image
Issue: Previously, users encountered an issue when they added the external image in the slider; they were unable to add alt text to images.
Resolution: This issue has now been resolved, and users can successfully add alt text to images within the interactive slide component. This update improves accessibility and ensures that alternative text descriptions are available for all images.
3. Issues in decorative images
Issue: Previously, users faced an issue with decorative images in the interactives. When two images were added in a section, clicking the checkbox on the second decorative image would incorrectly select the checkbox on the first image.
Resolution: This issue has been resolved so that each decorative image’s checkbox now works independently, allowing users to select each image without affecting the other.
4. Issue in sharing custom blocks across subaccount
Issue:
Earlier, the user was facing the issue when sharing the custom blocks across the sub-account; it was continuously loading.
Resolution: : Now the issue has been fixed and user could share the custom blocks across the sub-account without the hindrance.
5. Indent issue in Interactive's table element
Issue: Users previously experienced difficulties with using the indent feature inside table elements in Interactive's. The increase and decrease indent options were not functioning correctly within tables.
Resolution : This issue has now been resolved, and users can successfully apply both increase and decrease indent adjustments inside table elements.
