Feature Enhancements
New Feature:
Add Documents as new element in Loree editor
- As a user of Loree, you will now have the capability to easily add documents within the Loree editor using the document element.
- This new feature allows for a seamless and efficient editing experience.
- The user interface of the document editor has been updated for a more streamlined experience. Within the document element, there are three sections available: Course documents, User documents, and External link.
- When adding an external link, the Loree user will need to provide a title, which will be displayed as a clickable link in the editor.
Before installing external link:
After installing external link:
- By default, the "Add" button is disabled. It will only become enabled when the user selects a document from the list.
- Once the user clicks the "Add" button, the selected document will be added inside the editor.
After adding the document to the editor, it will automatically apply the style and font size based on the link style set in the admin dashboard.
Add Audio as new elements on elements tray inside Loree editor
- As a user of Loree, you will now have the capability to easily add audio within the Loree editor using the audio element.
- This new feature allows for a seamless and efficient editing experience.
- The audio editor's user interface has undergone an update to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
- When it comes to the audio element, there are currently two sections available:
- Course audio and User audio. These sections allow users to easily add audio files to their content within the Loree editor.
- Please note that at the moment, the option to add external links for audio files has not been implemented. However, we are actively working on this feature and it will be included in future updates.
- Stay tuned for more exciting enhancements to improve your editing experience in Loree.
- Users now have the ability to sort the list of data shown in the course/user audio tabs based on their preference. By default, the "Recent" option is selected, displaying the data in the order of recently uploaded audio files.
- If the user selects the "Ascending" option, the list of data will be shown in alphabetical order. On the other hand, selecting the "Descending" option will display the list in reverse alphabetical order.
- This new feature provides users with more control over organizing their audio files and enhances the overall user experience in the Loree editor.
- Also now the users have the ability to filter the list of data shown in the course/user audio tab by entering text in the search input text box.
- The search input field also includes validation for spaces, ensuring that only valid search queries are accepted.
If the searched text is not found in the data list, a message will be displayed to inform the user. This helps users easily identify when their search query does not match any available data.
To manage the Documents/Audio element in feature list to toggle ON/OFF via Loree Admin DashboardLoree Admin Dashboard: Managing the Documents Element- As a Loree administrator, you have the power to manage the Documents/Audio element in the feature list through the Loree Admin Dashboard. This feature allows you to toggle the Documents/Audio element on or off, enabling or disabling it for specific canvas roles by mapping them in the Admin Dashboard.
- In the Advanced section of the feature list, you will find the option to view and manage the Documents element. By default, the state of this element is set to toggle on, ensuring it is visible for users.
- When you toggle on this feature for a specific Loree role, it enables the Document element in the Elements area for users assigned to that canvas role. They will be able to add and edit documents seamlessly within the Loree editor.
- On the other hand, if you toggle off this feature for a Loree role, it will hide the Document element in the Elements area for users assigned to that canvas role. This gives you the flexibility to control which roles have access to the Document element.
- It's important to note that any new roles created in Loree will automatically include this feature, allowing you to easily manage document capabilities for all users.
- By using the Loree Admin Dashboard to toggle the Documents element, you can customize the editing experience and ensure that the right users have access to this powerful feature.
Some particular Google fonts are not shown in bubble menu: - In the past, if a user applied specific Google fonts that started with "Libre.." for their text and saved their LMS, the changes were not reflected in the bubble menu when they redirected to the page. Instead, the default font family was shown.
- The technical team is currenlty working on the Libree font to get added.
- This issue has been successfully resolved, and now the applied font family will be displayed in the bubble menu instead of the default font.
Tooltip for Minimenu is hidden for image with links - This issue has been resolved, and users can now view the tooltip for the Minimenu option after applying an image with a link.
After applying the link, you will be able to see the tooltip outside of the wrapper. This allows for easier access and visibility of the tooltip options(delete, copy, duplicate, link) when working with images.
- Font families list are unorder in dropdown
- Before, the font families in the dropdowns for the bubblemenu and table design section were not in a specific order.
- This issue has been resolved through the implementation of new custom fonts and Google fonts in the admin dashboard and within the editor. As a result, the fonts are now displayed in alphabetical order, providing a more organized and user-friendly experience.
- Unable to increase/decrease the height value in Divider (space)
- Previously, users faced an issue where they were unable to increase or decrease the height value when changing it in the code option and opening the size in the design section.
- Users can now easily increase or decrease the height of the space divider after updating it in the Codeblock. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and control over the spacing in the Loree editor.
- User still able to save the customs row and element even when admin unchecked both Private and Global permission in roles and feature:
- Previously, users were able to save custom rows and elements even when the admin had unchecked both the private and global permissions for custom rows/elements.
- Even if a user edits a custom row, they will see an "Update Template" button at the bottom. This button replicates the same custom row data in a modal. However, when the user clicks on the save button, nothing happens.
- Now this issue has been resolved, you can ensure that the "private" option is unchecked for custom rows/elements in roles and features.
- When editing a custom row, you will now see only one option in the footer: "Save as a Template." If both the private and global options are unchecked or not selected, nothing will be displayed at the bottom while editing the custom row. This improvement ensures a more streamlined and intuitive editing experience in the Loree editor.
- Style dropdown in bubble menu is inaccessible for first content of the page
- In the past, when a user added the first text element to the page, the style dropdown would open at the top of the bubble menu, perfectly aligned with the add row button.
- The header style dropdown will now open downwards when the content is at the top of the page. Additionally, it will open up or down based on the available space. This improvement ensures a better user experience and makes it easier to access and select header styles in the Loree editor.
- Text color is not changed after applying link
- When choosing the underline and style/initial options in the admin style manager, the underline is not visible on the text when applying a link in the editor. In the code, it displays "Text decoration: underline None."
- The issue of text color not changing after applying a link has been resolved. Now, when you add a link to the text, the color will be correctly applied.
- This validation also includes the text decoration, style, and highlight options in the bubble menu. It has been validated for both existing links and custom links, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing experience for users.
- Word option: pascal case (Capitalize) not reflecting in pages
- Previously, when a user added a paragraph and selected the word option, they could choose Pascal case to capitalize certain words and then save it to the LMS. However, when they navigated to the page to validate the changes, the expected result was not reflected.
- This issue has been successfully resolved, and the expected result is now reflected as intended.
- UI fixes for Accessibility checker quick-fix section
- Previously, if the header exceeded 123 characters, it would trigger an accessibility check issue.
- However, we have now implemented a quick fix for this problem. With the quick fix, the heading tag will automatically be changed to a paragraph, resolving the accessibility check issue.
- This improvement ensures a better user experience and makes it easier to meet accessibility standards in the Loree editor.
- Furthermore, if a user adds two headers and applies an h1 style to the first header and an h3 style to the second header, it will trigger an accessibility check issue.
- This is because heading levels should only increase by one.
- To address this issue, a quick fix has been implemented. The user simply needs to tick the checkbox labeled "Fix Heading Hierarchy" and the problem will be automatically resolved.
- This new feature ensures a smoother editing experience and helps users easily meet accessibility standards in the Loree editor.
- When adding an image with a decorative selection, it is important to include the role attribute as "presentation".
- This ensures that the image is recognized as purely decorative and does not convey any important information to assistive technologies.
- By adding the role attribute as "presentation", you are ensuring accessibility and providing a better user experience for all users in the Loree editor.
Thank You.
